Overview
We are seeking a creative and dynamic Social Media Manager to join our team. This role is essential in enhancing our online presence and engaging with our audience across various social media platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of public relations and social media management, enabling them to develop effective strategies that resonate with our target demographic.
Duties
* Develop, implement, and manage social media and online engagement strategies to enhance brand presence and meet business objectives.
* Create original and engaging content tailored for digital platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and emerging networks.
* Analyse data and usage metrics from online campaigns; generate reports for continuous improvement.
* Monitor audience feedback, trends, and online conversations, responding appropriately to maintain positive community relationships.
* Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to deliver unified campaigns aligned with wider organisational goals.
* Represent the organisation in digital forums, events, and direct online interactionsSkills and Experience Required.
Skills and Experience Required
* Experience in social media management, public relations, or digital communications.
* Bachelor's degree (or equivalent qualification) in marketing, communications, digital media, or related fields.
* Proven ability with analytics tools and social media management platforms (e.g. Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Insights).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong creative, organisational, and project management abilities.
* Ability to interpret data and inform content strategy.
* Ability to analyse data and derive actionable insights from performance metrics.
* Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative content ideas.
* Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
