Role Overview: We are recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our client's growing operations team. This is a key position responsible for overseeing the delivery of mechanical works on renewable energy and heating projects. The successful candidate will have a solid background in mechanical installations-ideally with gas engineering or boiler experience-and will thrive in a hands-on supervisory role. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate mechanical teams on-site across renewable and low-carbon heating projects Ensure works are delivered to a high standard, in line with project timelines and compliance standards Carry out quality and safety inspections and support ongoing risk management Liaise with clients, contractors, and suppliers, acting as the on-site technical point of contact Support with hands-on installation and troubleshooting when needed Maintain detailed project documentation and site reports Uphold company health and safety procedures across all activities Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) Valid CSCS card Proven experience in mechanical installations-renewables, pipework, heating systems Gas engineering or boiler installation experience is beneficial Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Full UK driving licence (van and fuel card provided) Ability to work both independently and as part of a wider team What's On Offer: Competitive salary (£45,000, based on experience) Company van and fuel card Flexible hybrid working arrangements (to be discussed at interview) Involvement in high-impact renewable energy projects Ongoing training and professional development This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business at the forefront of sustainable energy innovation in the Northwest.
