Key Responsibilities:
* Manage client accounts with precision and efficiency, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
* Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
* Oversee payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
* Handle VAT returns and other tax-related matters, providing expert advice to clients.
* Lead and mentor junior staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality work.
* Liaise with clients to address their queries and provide tailored financial solutions.
* Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic planning.
Requirements:
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in accountancy practice.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards.
* Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero).
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong client relationships.
* Leadership experience and a proven track record of mentoring and developing junior staff.
