Overview
Outwood Academy Adwick seeks applications from flexible candidates with the ability to manage their time effectively to maintain the high standards of cleanliness required in our Academy. We are looking for candidates with a desire to help us maintain standards of the academy, ensuring that health and safety standards are maintained and that a clean and inviting environment is provided for our staff, students and visitors. We believe that all support staff within our Family of Schools are key posts in terms of securing student success and achievement across a broad range of subjects and experiences. We are keen to recruit dedicated and ambitious individuals who will add value to our Academy in both academic terms and through involvement in the fabric of learning and success beyond the classroom.
Responsibilities and expectations
The role focuses on maintaining cleanliness and a safe environment within the Academy in line with health and safety standards. Specific duties include:
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the Academy for staff, students and visitors.
* Support health and safety compliance in daily operations.
* Contribute to creating a welcoming and inviting environment in line with school policy.
* Work collaboratively with other staff to support the learning environment beyond the classroom.
Hours and contract
17.5 hours per week (Monday – Friday 3:00pm – 6:30pm) Term Time plus 10 days.
