Our vibrant services in Wigan and Leigh provide support to people concerned about their own or someone else's alcohol or drug use. We have services in both Wigan and Leigh but much of our work is carried out in the local communities we serve.

Please note, the working pattern for this role is Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. You will be based at Wigan & Leigh, however travel may be required throughout the area

About the job
Managing and developing your team to reach its full potential will be key to your success and will be your passion as a Team Leader.
The role of Team Leader within a With You service requires an organised and flexible approach to work as sometimes you may have your own caseload of clients to manage alongside supporting your team.
There will be data analysis and administration tasks to deal with too, but that's all part of this busy and varied job that you take in your stride.
Required Skills
To carry out this role effectively, you will:
1. have demonstrable experience of working in a health, social care or criminal justice setting and of working in partnership with a range of statutory and non-statutory agencies
2. have a successful track record of management responsibilies and development of other
3. have an understanding of the issues faced by those experiencing substance misuse or mental health issues
4. have the knowledge and understanding of harm minimisation in substance misuse treatment, or psychological health interventions for common mental health problems in primary care
5. understand health and safety in a health care setting, and how to assess and manage high risk situations with clients
6. be able to prioritise workloads, work under pressure and manage conflicting demands
7. be able to build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and external contacts alike
8. be resilient and able to manage your work alongside conflicting priorities in a very busy environment
9. have good written and oral communication skill and confident in your IT skills and digital media
10. be able to work effectively as a team member, demonstrating a collaborative and supportive manner
You will also need to meet our safeguarding requirements of a satisfactory enhanced DBS check

Experience of managing budgets would also be an advantage but it is not essential
