Transport Clerk - Night Shift


Location: Widnes

Pay Rate: £15.58 - £23.10 Per hour / Sunday - Thursday 22:00 PM -06:30 AM, 40 hours per week


Job Duties:

* Coordinate and schedule transportation activities for the night shift.
* Monitor and track the movement of goods and vehicles.
* Communicate effectively with drivers and other team members to ensure timely deliveries.
* Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and documentation.
* Resolve any transportation issues or delays that may arise during the night shift.


Required Qualifications:

* Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication and interpersonal skills.


Education:

* Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.


Experience:

* Prior experience in a transportation or logistics role preferred.


Knowledge and Skills:

* Knowledge of transportation regulations and procedures.
* Proficiency in MS Office and transportation management software.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to make quick decisions.


Working Conditions:
