Responsibilities
* Managing and delivering an array of projects and developments
* Overseeing a newly established team of Civil Engineering professionals, mentoring them throughout CPD
* Leading on budgeting, resourcing, scheduling, successful delivery/implementation
* Managing infrastructure and non-infrastructure design projects
* Establishing professional relations with clients and stakeholders
* Preparing, checking, submitting reports, drawings, calculations, risk assessments, technical documents
* Enforcing company policies, procedures, best practice
* Upholding health and safety standards
* Contributing to business development strategies as trusted representative
Required Skills & Experience
* UK Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, Hydrology, or cognate discipline
* Chartered status with recognised professional body (e.g., ICE)
* Extensive design capacity experience in UK consultancy
* Experience with water-based non-infrastructure projects (reservoirs, pumping stations, etc.)
* Detailed drainage and civil engineering design experience
* Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, etc.
* Experience writing, checking, amending reports for submission
* Managing relevant projects and people
* Client and stakeholder relations management
* Outstanding organisation, time management, leadership, communication, interpersonal skills
* Full valid UK driving licence
Desirable Skills & Experience
* UK Higher Degree (or equivalent) in relevant discipline
* Authoring Flood Risk Assessments
* Sustainable Drainage Design (SuDS)
* Public-facing role experience
