Senior Finance Administrator/Senior Legal Cashier

A brilliant opportunity has arisen for a detail-focused individual to take on a varied finance role within a professional environment. The position offers exposure to accounts, billing and client-related financial processes.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to:
* Posting and allocating cash receipts, including performing AML checks on new payors.
* Completing and maintaining bank reconciliations within the practice management system.
* Managing queries through the Finance Helpdesk and resolving issues promptly.
* Processing supplier invoices, staff expenses and preparing BACS payments.
* Preparing invoices and resolving billing queries from internal teams.
* Maintaining accurate financial records within the practice management system.
* Producing WIP and debtor reports, along with additional financial analysis.
* Processing and reconciling corporate credit card transactions.
* Supporting property-related financial processes and transactions.
* Managing client accounts and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Skills / Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar finance role, ideally within a professional services or law firm environment. They will demonstrate a strong understanding of core accounting principles and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Experience with systems such as Aderant would be advantageous.
They will possess excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail, communication skills and a proactive, solution-focused approach are essential. The successful individual will be adaptable, reliable and committed to delivering high-quality work within a team environment.
