Transport and Delivery Coordinator Opportunity
We're looking for a highly organized and proactive Transport and Delivery Coordinator to manage the import, transport, and delivery of special vehicles worldwide. This role ensures compliance with DVSA regulations and company policies, optimises fleet efficiency, and delivers exceptional customer service.
Transport and Delivery Coordinator Duties
: Coordinate vehicle imports and deliveries from suppliers, ensuring smooth transportation.
: Engage with customers and suppliers, handling inquiries and ensuring top:tier service.
: Manage all transport logistics, including ferry bookings, scheduling, and paperwork.
: Maintain compliance, keeping fleet and drivers in line with regulations.
: Prepare and process invoices, customer orders, and registration documents.
: Optimize vehicle loads to maximize efficiency and safety.
: Monitor and report KPIs, tracking progress and performance.
: Support sales teams and organize vehicle demonstrations.
: Problem:solve transport challenges like delays or route changes.
Transport and Delivery Coordinator skills/experience required
: Exceptional organisation and multitasking skills.
: Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
: Great problem:solving and decision:making abilities.
: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams, Word).
: Understanding of HGV planning and compliance (preferred).
: Strong geographical awareness (preferred).
: Knowledge of HGV driver planning, legislation and guidelines
