Description Doncaster-based role – work close to home Permanent part-time role – 22.5 hours per week 3-day work week: Wednesday, Thursday, and a flexible third day Competitive salary with access to salary packaging benefits About the Team Doncaster Rehabilitation Services (DRS) provides allied health and therapy services to support older people to regain or maintain their physical, functional, and cognitive abilities, enabling them to continue living independently within the community. Our services include Physiotherapy and Occupational Therapy. About the Role Due to continued growth within our Community Services, we are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Allied Health Assistant to join our DRS team on a permanent part-time basis, working 22.5 hours per week across three days. Working under the guidance and supervision of Allied Health Professionals, your responsibilities will include: Delivering centre-based, home-based, and community-based individual and group therapy programs Working collaboratively with clients to support therapy goals Assisting with documentation of client progress and completing required administrative tasks within DRS About You To be successful in this role, you will have: A Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance Experience managing an independent caseload and delivering services under the direction of Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, preferably in a community setting Proven experience delivering supervised group exercise programs An understanding of Home and Community Care programs and funding streams, including Support At Home (SAH) and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP) A current NDIS Worker Screening Check and evidence of three COVID-19 vaccinations A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
