Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Construction Manager, based in Halifax. The Construction Manager will oversee construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. Responsibilities include managing staff and subcontractors, supervising site operations, maintaining adherence to safety regulations, and ensuring compliance with project schedules. The Construction Manager will work closely with project stakeholders to address challenges, monitor budgets, and ensure quality standards are met.
Qualifications
* Proven Supervisory Skills with the ability to lead and manage teams effectively
* Experience in Budgeting and financial management to ensure cost-effective project execution
* Knowledge of Construction Safety standards and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
* Expertise in Construction and Project Control for managing timelines, resources, and quality standards
* Strong communication and organizational skills
* Ability to solve problems and make decisions under pressure
* Familiarity with utility infrastructure projects is a plus
* Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred
