We’re looking for a high-impact Head of Automation to lead a Motors & Automation function, delivering world-class technical solutions across the Entertainment sector. You’ll take full ownership of a critical department, driving performance, safety, innovation, and sustainability. Leading a skilled team of technicians and engineers, you’ll ensure the highest standards in equipment delivery and technical services for major events.

Duties:
* Drive efficient planning and resource management across all projects
* Champion high-quality standards in equipment and technical service delivery
* Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing technical team
* Embed a safety-first culture, with strong oversight of LOLER and H&S compliance
* Develop and implement risk assessments and safety protocols
* Manage budgets and inventory
Skills:
* Proven experience in a leadership/ management
* Strong technical knowledge of motors, automation systems and rigging
* Deep understanding of health & safety legislation (LOLER essential)
* A natural leader with the ability to motivate and develop diverse teams
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A continuous improvement mindset with a drive to innovate
* Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills
* Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
* Project management or lean process experience (desirable)
* Microsoft 365 proficiency
