Our client Leicestershire County Council is looking for a Children's Senior Social Worker to join their Kinship Support team. Supports children living with relatives or family friends (kinship carers) Manages complex safeguarding and child protection cases Completes kinship carer and fostering assessments Prepares court reports and attends family court hearings Develops care and permanency plans for children Provides support and guidance to kinship carers Works with schools, health services, and other professionals Attends child protection conferences and review meetings Monitors children's safety, wellbeing, and placement stability Supervises or mentors junior social workers Ensures case records and statutory visits are completed on time Applies UK childcare legislation, policies, and safeguarding procedures Benefits of working with Remedy A personal one-one service from your highly experienced dedicated consultant.
