Main Duties: As a CNC Machinist, your responsibilities will include: Continuing the production of parts and making necessary adjustments to tooling and wear offsets to ensure machines operate efficiently. Carrying out inspections using CMM programs set by inspection and utilising gauges, verniers, micrometers, and height gauges. Maintaining clean and tidy workstations while producing high-quality work that adheres to agreed specifications. Promoting teamwork by maintaining positive working relationships with colleagues. Experience Required - CNC Machinist: We are looking for Setters and Operators with either CNC milling or CNC turning experience and: Time-served or equivalent experience in a precision machining company. Good experience in inspecting their own work using CMMs and gauges to verify product quality. Familiarity with Heidenhain controls (preferable but not essential) and the ability to work to tight tolerances. Strong attention to detail, a flexible mindset, and the ability to be a team player. Shift Patterns - CNC Machinist: Permanent Days: Monday - Thursday, 07:30 - 16:30, and Friday 07:30 - 12:30 Permanent Nights: Monday - Thursday, 18:00 06:00 Benefits CNC Machinist: Salary negotiable up to £17.00 per hour depending on experience.
