Industrial Placement Student

As our business looks to deliver its ambitious strategy of growth, we are looking for a Group Sustainability Industrial Placement Student to join our central Sustainability team to provide dedicated delivery support to the Group ESG Reporting team during a critical period of regulatory, system and reporting activity on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
You will work closely with other members of the sustainability team and with stakeholders across the business on a variety of tasks that support Croda’s overall sustainability commitment.

1. A passion for sustainability
2. Working towards a 2:1 degree in a Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Analytics or relevant subject.
3. Ability to research topics and trends in sustainability
4. High standard of numeracy, confidence with handling data and attention to detail
5. High standard of verbal and written communication
6. Good inter-personal skills, with an ability to develop relationships across a large organisation
7. Ability to work well independently and collaboratively, and be keen to share information, knowledge, and skills
8. Self-motivated individual with the ability to manage and plan your workload.
9. A proactive and enthusiastic approach to work, with a high level of initiative

As a sustainability placement student at Croda you will:
10. Gain an understanding of sustainability strategy within a FTSE100 organisation
11. Collaborate with different global business functions to support our sustainability initiatives
12. Research sustainability topics providing the team and/or stakeholders in the wider business with best practice recommendations
13. Help develop and deploy sustainability reporting data management tools and systems
14. Support data collection, analysis and presentation for our sustainability reporting
