Job Title: Leisure Assistant
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Adhoc shifts
Location: Wallyford
Salary: £12.69
Hours: Monday to Friday 6pm-10pm/ Saturday & Sunday 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out general reception duties, ensuring the entrance area is always supervised.
2. Welcome visitors and booking holders, directing them to their allocated spaces.
3. Set up and dismantle equipment for bookings safely and within required timeframes.
4. Manage bookings, including processing reservations and payments.
5. Inspect safety equipment regularly and report any faults or defects to management.
6. Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing assistance where required.
7. Monitor campus facilities and users to promote safety, appropriate behaviour, and prevent damage or misuse.
8. Conduct regular patrols of the centre to ensure facilities are used correctly.
9. Perform cleaning duties inside and outside the campus in line with Health & Safety standards and organisational procedures.
10. Keep storage areas clean, organised, and maintained according to store plans.
11. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legislative and client requirements.
12. Undertake any additional duties reasonably requested by management.
Key Skills:
13. Experience working within the leisure industry (desirable but not essential).
14. Strong organisational, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
15. Excellent customer service skills.
16. PVG Required
17. First Aid qualification (desirable but not essential).
18. Level 2 Personal Trainer qualification (desirable but not essential).
