Based in Newry, this pivotal role is responsible for shaping and executing our Group-wide HR strategy, driving innovation in people practices, and enhancing our position as an employer of choice. About the Role As Group HR Director, you will lead and inspire a talented HR and Talent team, developing bespoke solutions across our Group companies. You will be instrumental in delivering key HR initiatives across the full employee lifecycle - from talent acquisition and development to employee engagement, culture, and HR operations. You'll work closely with divisional Managing Directors, supporting strategic business goals while building a high-performing, future-ready workforce. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and execution of the Group HR Strategy aligned with our business plan. Partner with the CEO and ELT to drive strategic HR decisions. Champion the continued digitisation of HR systems and data-driven decision-making. Manage the annual HR budget and support cost optimisation efforts across the Group. Build a positive and engaging employee experience and organisational culture. What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years in a senior HR leadership role (Head of HR or HR Director level). MCIPD qualified (essential); Degree in HR, Business, or Occupational Psychology (desirable). Strong background in change management, HR digitisation, and employee engagement. Excellent leadership, collaboration, and strategic influencing skills. Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
