Job Description
Process supplier invoices and ensure timely payments in compliance with company policies.Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies effectively.Maintain accurate records of financial transactions within the accounting system.Assist in preparing payment runs, including BACS and cheque payments.Communicate with suppliers to handle queries and provide updates on payment statuses.Support the month-end close by reconciling accounts payable ledgers.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless financial operations.Contribute to process improvements within the accounts payable function.The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.Effective communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders.A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.Experience in the Healthcare industry or a similar sector is advantageous.What's on Offer
