CNC Setter Operator - 4-day working week
Leicester Pay: Up to £17.00 per hour, depending on experience & shift Shifts: Various (Day / Afternoon / Night) Standard Day Shift Hours: MondayThursday, 6:30am 4:45pm
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Leicester looking to add experienced CNC Setters / Operators to their team.
The Role:
Setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines, including controllers such as Fanuc, Mazak or Siemens
Carrying out tool changes, setting offsets, first-off inspections and component measurement to tight tolerances
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and using inspection tools (micrometres, verniers etc.)
Working to production targets while maintaining high-quality standards and a safe working environment
Being flexible and proactive within a busy shift environment
What Were Looking For:
Proven experience as a CNC Setter / Operator in a manufacturing or precision engineering setting
Hands-on experience with CNC machines and at least one control system (Fanuc, Mazak or Siemens)
Confidence in reading technical drawings and performing inspection/measurement tasks
Ability to work various shifts and adapt to production demands
A reliable team player with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
Whats On Offer:
Up to £17.00 per hour, depending on experience and shift
Standard day shift: 6:30am 4:45pm, Monday to Thursday
