Our team is expanding with a new support package and we are looking for positive, energetic people who are passionate about making a positive impact on others through their work.

We support individuals who have suffered life changing injuries to regain their skills, confidence and independence to maximise their quality of life and independence. The Outreach Rehabilitation Support Workers work alongside an individual's neuro-therapy team to implement goals and strategies. We are interested to hear from all people from different walks of life, regardless of experience as we give full training. Our Outreach Rehabilitation Support Workers work alongside neuro-therapists to help people regain skills and quality of life after a life-changing injury. The role involves doing interesting activities and working with the team to find creative solutions. No two days are the same

* The role is satisfying in its own right, but it is also a great foundation for your career and development within Health and Social Care. Working in a brain injury rehabilitation service is fast paced, dynamic as we see people regain lost skills and confidence in order to move onto a more fulfilled life.
* Extensive training is given, including a Senior Development Programme and we have excellent career development opportunities.
* We support individuals with an acquired brain injury to regain their skills, confidence and independence with the aim to return home or to more independent living. The Rehabilitation Support Workers work alongside our neuro-therapy team to implement goals and strategies. We don't need people with vast care experience since in-depth training and mentoring is given. What we need is a variety of different types of people who are kind, grounded, proactive people who love working in a positive creative team.
* As this role is in the community supporting individuals in our own homes, community and workplaces it it essential to be a driver and care owner. The role involves working on a varied rota including weekend work in the Sheffield 6 and Stocksbridge areas.

The role would suit both individuals looking for a complete career change or those looking working towards a career in Social Care, Neuro-Psychology, Neuro-OT, Neuro-SLT or Neuro-physiotherapy.

Pay: £12.60 per hour
