Role Responsibilities:
* Supporting Hach’s products within customer settings, from commissioning to maintenance, repair, and replacement.
* Conducting commissioning, service, repairs, calibrations on equipment at customer sites, mainly in Northern England/Wales, occasionally supporting the broader UK.
* Interpreting manuals, schematics, and application info to perform service activities. Willingness to learn and develop skills through various training mediums.
* Managing offsite administrative duties such as stock control, technical support, and customer documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
* Strong mechanical, electronic, and electrical skills with relevant educational qualifications.
* At least 2 years’ experience as a field service technician or in a relevant instrumentation/calibration role.
* Willingness and flexibility to travel long distances and stay away from home (6-8 nights/month as needed).
