Overview and About the Role

Reaseheath College is offering a unique opportunity for a passionate and experienced professional to take on a dual role that combines the responsibilities of both the Advanced Inclusive Learning Practitioner (AILP) and the Inclusive Learning Practitioner (ILP), offering a varied and rewarding role for someone who thrives on challenge, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

About the role

As this is a dual role, the position will be split between 17.5 hours AILP and 17.5 hours ILP. In the role, you will lead and deliver high-quality learning support interventions, mentor colleagues, and work directly with students to help them access the curriculum and develop independent learning skills. You will oversee a caseload, contribute to EHCP reviews, and collaborate with curriculum teams to embed inclusive practices across the College.


Key Responsibilities

* Plan and deliver tailored 1:1 and small group interventions
* Monitor student progress and evaluate impact against EHCP targets
* Promote independent learning through assistive technology and study skills development
* Collaborate with curriculum staff to implement dynamic support strategies
* Contribute to the development of inclusive learning resources
* Maintain accurate records and produce high-quality reports


The Successful Candidate Will Have

* Level 4 qualification (or willingness to train)
* Experience supporting students with SEND, including complex needs
* Strong mentoring, planning, and organisational skills
* Ability to evaluate and report on the impact of interventions
* A flexible, reflective, and student-centred approach
