Sulis Hospital, part of the Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust, is looking for a Cardiac Physiologist / Healthcare Scientist to join the Community Diagnostic Centre. The role involves ambulatory cardiology diagnostic testing, including transthoracic echo services, to maintain high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out ambulatory cardiology diagnostic testing in the Community Diagnostic Centre.
* Perform transthoracic echocardiography and other diagnostic procedures.
* Ensure accurate documentation and uphold high attention to detail.
* Communicate professionally with patients, putting them at ease during the testing process.
* Support the expansion of diagnostic services as the hospital increases activity levels.
Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant healthcare qualification in physiology or a related field.
* Experience in cardiac diagnostics or similar clinical environment preferred.
* Strong communication skills and a friendly manner toward patients.
* Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
* Ability to work flexibly as part of a developing diagnostic team.
