NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde has a vacancy for a full-time, permanent ESTATES CO-ORDINATING SUPERVISOR (Mech/Elec) at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Paisley.
The ideal candidate will have completed a recognised construction-related trade apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechanical disciplines, with post-apprenticeship experience, and hold an SVQ Level 4 or equivalent. It is desirable that the candidate is willing to pursue a degree in engineering or a building discipline as outlined in the attached Job Description. Essential qualifications include relevant educational credentials and experience.
This role requires extensive knowledge and experience with complex electrical/engineering systems and water systems in large healthcare facilities. Experience in estates management, statutory compliance, and operational guidance within healthcare environments is essential.
The successful applicant will demonstrate strong communication and management skills, the ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment, and the capacity to work independently while providing leadership. Collaborative skills are also important for effective teamwork and fostering positive relationships across departments.
