About your team:
At British Gas, our mission is to sell it and mend it.
We power 1 in 3 homes in the UK, but our work extends beyond energy supply. We're making UK homes greener and more energy-efficient, working with Hive using smart tech like thermostats, heat pumps, solar panels, and EV chargers to help reduce carbon footprints. Our Peak Save programme rewards better energy use.
About your role:
We need Smart engineers to join our experienced team to ensure our customers receive the help they need, when they need it.
The base salary is £38,589, with uncapped OTE of approximately £44,480 (plus London Weighting where applicable), achievable through our field reward scheme.
Customer support is our priority. Whether installing new equipment or performing complex repairs, you'll represent British Gas in customers' homes. You'll have support from managers, mentors, and colleagues, but some jobs can be challenging. A minimum of 2 years of qualified experience is required to handle most tasks.
Here's what we're looking for:
* Ideally, at least 2 years of experience in domestic gas and electric meter installations
* CCN1 or CMA1 & MET1 qualifications or industry-recognised equivalents
