Essential Qualifications & Registration
* Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery (BDS or DDS/DMD)
* Valid registration with the relevant dental board:
* UK: General Dental Council (GDC)
* Completion of foundation training or residency (where applicable)
Experience
* Preferably 4–6 years of clinical experience (new graduates may be considered for junior roles)
* Experience in general dentistry including examinations, fillings, extractions, root canals, and preventive care
* Familiarity with NHS/private dental care systems (UK-specific)
Skills
* Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to manage anxious or nervous patients
* Team player with a collaborative approach
* Time management and organizational ability
Compliance & Legal
* Up-to-date DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check (UK)
* Indemnity insurance (e.g. with Dental Protection, MDDUS, etc.)
* Up-to-date CPD (Continuing Professional Development) in line with regulatory requirements
* Right to work in the country
Desirable (but not essential)
* Additional qualifications in cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, or implants
* Experience using dental software (e.g. SOE/Exact, Dentally, R4)
* Ability to speak multiple languages (especially in diverse patient communities)
