Job Overview
– Permanent – £28k to £35k – Liverpool
We are seeking a detail-oriented Pension Payroll Administrator to deliver accurate and timely pension payroll services. You will support end-to-end payroll processing across SIPP, SSAS, and/or occupational pension schemes, ensuring compliance with regulations and a strong focus on member outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process regular and ad-hoc pension payrolls
2. Calculate pension payments, PAYE tax, lump sums, drawdown, and death benefits
3. Submit RTI reports and manage P45s, P60s, and year-end processes
4. Ensure compliance with HMRC requirements and pension legislation
5. Handle member, adviser, and third-party payroll queries
6. Perform reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
7. Maintain accurate member records and payroll data
8. Support process improvements and system updates
About You
Essential:
9. Strong knowledge of PAYE and pension taxation
10. Experience with RTI submissions and HMRC processes
11. High accuracy and ability to manage deadlines
Desirable:
12. Pension payroll or administration experience
13. Knowledge of drawdown and complex benefits
14. Experience in financial services
