We are recruiting Graduates for our Mobility - Transport Planning teams with a flexible approach and appetite to learn in a leading Engineering and Professional Advisory services consultancy. You will enjoy working in a collaborative environment for a diverse range of clients and projects.

Our Mobility - Transport Planning teams take a people and place-based approach to consider mobility for all parts of society. We collaborate with clients across the UK to develop effective and sustainable strategies that deliver positive social, environmental, and economic outcomes. Transport Planning
Our Transport planners shape the future of cities and communities by contributing to sustainable travel systems. Day-to-day activities
* Data Analysis: Collect and analyse transportation data.
* Project Management: Assist in planning and monitoring projects from concept to delivery.
* Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with various stakeholders with regards to projects and their areas of interest.
* Decarbonisation and future mobility: Integrate green technologies and sustainable planning as part of our solutions to projects.
* Policy Development: Contribute to transportation policies and approaches from national guidance to local implementation strategies
* Innovation and Research: Stay updated with industry trends.
* Impact Assessment: Evaluate the impacts of projects to all
Liveable Places
Our Liveable Places team plan, design and deliver projects from an idea to construction, helping clients across the UK re-envision and re-shape places so people and places thrive. You may work on projects such as the Regional Transport Strategy for the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority or the design and delivery of Gloucestershire’s cycle and walking network.
Our Liveable Places parking projects team deliver small to medium sized parking projects. You will gain skills in data analysis, CAD, public and stakeholder engagement, GIS applications and Parking legislation, from site visits to drawing up proposals for consultation and implementation.

* Gaining knowledge of Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions (TSRGD) and Traffic Signs Manual Chapter 3
Strategic Modelling
Our Transport Modelling team undertake a range of modelling work including Strategic Modelling, Micro-simulation, Public Transport Modelling and Pedestrian Modelling. Outputs support assessment of transport interventions and their impacts on mode choice and trips, including effects on the environment, new developments, and funding applications.

Graduate Development Programme
You will join an enthusiastic and supportive team with a two-year development programme designed to support personal and professional growth through blended learning, core training, networking, mentoring for professional registration and on-the-job experience. We offer opportunities to pursue chartered status with relevant professional bodies and support through a training agreement with a professional institution.

What We Will Be Looking For You To Demonstrate

* You’ll have a desire for the built environment, infrastructure, places and the economy
* You’ll be comfortable handling and interpreting data, and understand transport models and relevant software like GIS
* You’ll have an enthusiasm for creativity and a drive to solve problems
* You’ll want to inspire us, sharing new ideas you have
