Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced, full-time Business Development/Senior Sales Manager to join our growing team. Full-time, on-site role at our London offices, working from home Fridays upon completion of probation.
Responsibilities:
Identifying, engaging with and generating opportunities that deliver on the JSD strategy and feed into JSD’s commercial pipeline, to win new business with new clients.
Working with the Head of Sales to help set sales and revenue goals for each financial year. Assist the Head of Sales with the planning, implementation and execution of sales strategies, plans, and activities, to meet the company targets for business growth and profitability.
To engage in proactive prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline development within our Sales & Marketing Team. With a primary focus on identifying and cultivating new business opportunities through all channels, cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn, industry events and tender portals.
To effectively establish collaborative partnerships with the decision-makers and influencers within company’s target sectors and companies. Identifying / recognising their differing needs to enable JSD to sell on value to each of the different audiences.
Building and maintaining robust and long-lasting relationships with a portfolio of new clients and prospects, identifying their unique requirements, and managing the delivery of an exceptional custom service to all.
To drive continuous improvement in the product(s) and service(s) provided to better meet the needs of the customers and enhance the company’s competitive advantage of a ‘no one is uniform’ approach, by offering more customised sales and service solutions.
Execute the completion and response / submission of RFI’s, RFPs, Tenders, and related sales documentation. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather insights and shape strong responses. Conducting client research to create tailored, impactful tenders. Helping to review and analyse tender outcomes to continuously improve future submissions.
Proactively manage a sales budget and profit margin for new clients, measured against commercial targets, to ensure that all related JSD activities are carried out to meet commercial targets and increase revenue.
Responsible for maintaining JSD’s CRM system with accurate and up-to-date information on key contacts and target market companies as well as contact history with your prospects.
Essential:
· Minimum 5 years’ experience in a new business sales or business development role, with a proven track record in prospecting and achievement of sales goals.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
· Confidence in sales pitches and client presentations.
· Excellent Excel knowledge.
· Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
· Right to work in the UK, do not require sponsorship for employment visa.
Preferred:
· Uniform industry experience
· European Languages
· Tender writing experience
