Role Overview

The Marketing Automation & Growth Manager will lead the strategy, development, and day‑to‑day optimisation of marketing automation and growth infrastructure across Learning Curve Group. This hands‑on, strategic role focuses on designing, implementing, and continuously improving end‑to‑end automated journeys across multiple audiences, channels, and product areas to ensure timely, relevant, and consistent engagement throughout the learner and stakeholder journey.


Responsibilities

* Take strategic ownership of all marketing automation across Learning Curve Group.
* Define and deliver a clear automation roadmap aligned to business growth and learner recruitment goals.
* Act as the internal subject‑matter expert and decision‑maker for Marketing Cloud and Apollo.
* Lead the implementation, configuration and ongoing optimisation of Marketing Cloud.
* Design and manage end‑to‑end automated lifecycle journeys, including lead nurture, onboarding, re‑engagement and retention.
* Build and maintain segmentation models and triggers to enable relevant, personalised communication at scale.
* Ensure best practice across deliverability, consent, data hygiene and regulatory compliance.
* Own and manage the use of Apollo to support outbound growth activity across the organisation.
* Design scalable prospecting, sequencing and data enrichment approaches to support pipeline growth.
* Work closely with sales and employer engagement teams to ensure clear handovers, alignment and accurate attribution.
* Continuously optimise targeting, messaging and cadence to improve conversion rates and pipeline quality.
* Use marketing automation to directly support learner recruitment, employer engagement and partner growth.
* Define clear success measures and continuously optimise automated journeys using performance data and insight.
* Work closely with analytics, CRM and paid media teams to connect activity to meaningful outcomes.
* Identify opportunities to test, learn and scale new automation‑led growth initiatives, supporting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
* Partner with marketing, sales, admissions and employer engagement teams to deliver joined‑up activity.
* Translate commercial objectives into practical, effective automated journeys.
* Provide guidance, documentation and best‑practice support for wider teams.
* Manage agencies or platform partners where required.
* Conduct your role in line with the company values and expected behaviours.

Qualifications

* Proven experience in a senior marketing automation growth‑focused role.
* Hands‑on experience using Marketing Cloud.
* Hands‑on experience using Apollo.
* Strong understanding of lifecycle marketing, segmentation and journey design.
* Experience working closely with CRM, sales and data teams.
* Commercial mindset, with a clear focus on impact, performance and outcomes.
* Experience within education, training, B2B, B2C or regulated environments (desirable).
* Experience scaling marketing automation across multiple products or audiences (desirable).
* Strong understanding of data models, attribution and performance reporting (desirable).
