Electrical Maintenance Engineer / Electrical Maintenance Technician
Salary
£44,000 to £48,000 per annum + overtime (paid at 1.5x and 2.0x) and benefits (£50k+ with overtime potential)
Hours
6am till 6pm, 4 on & 4 off – Permanent Days
Location
Commutable from Horsham, Crawley, Worthing, Haywards Heath, East Grinstead, Southwater, Shoreham and surrounding areas

Responsibilities
* Electrical biased role focusing on Electrical Maintenance Engineering in the factory across a 12‑hour shift pattern.
* Maintain all plant and machinery through fault finding, planned preventive maintenance and various project work, including refurbishments and installations.
* Troubleshoot/fault find on Siemens and other PLC equipment.
* Maintain sensors, relays, contactors, drives, AC/DC motors, 3‑phase electrics etc. within the factory.
* Work in an Electrical Team and liaise with the Mechanical Team on engineering matters.
* Provide input in the ongoing development of machinery and systems.
* Ensure safe working at all times with a right‑first‑time attitude to produce a cost‑effective, quality product while adhering to company policies and procedures.
* Identify solutions that improve efficiency and reduce costs.
* Communicate effectively to colleagues and production and keep required logs of work and hours.
* Develop an understanding of machinery operation so faults can be diagnosed and rectified efficiently.
Requirements
* Completed a recognised electrical engineering apprenticeship or hold electrical engineering qualifications.
* Electrical maintenance, service or installation background.
* Electrical experience of any of the following: 3‑phase, star/delta motors, drives, sensors, inverters, PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Omron etc.), contactors, relays, control panels, servo drives.
* Experience in a similar field such as manufacturing, industrial or automation.
* Any mechanical experience desirable but not essential if you have a desire to learn and take on training.
* Friendly and adaptable working attitude, with hunger and desire to learn and grow.
