An opportunity has arisen for an Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our brand‑new Birmingham Hospital and become a highly valued member of a multidisciplinary team. Your expertise in orthopaedic procedures will help us deliver high‑volume, high‑quality care. Main duties of the job
We perform a high volume of hip, knee and foot/ankle arthroplasty and other orthopaedic procedures. Length of stay for hip and knee surgery averages below two days, and we are expanding same‑day discharge pathways through an enhanced recovery programme. You will treat both NHS and private patients, report to the Medical Director, and provide expert clinical opinion and surgical care in accordance with hospital protocols and best practice. Success will be measured by improved patient‑reported outcome measures (PROMs) and clinical outcomes that consistently exceed national averages.
