Responsible for the provision of safe, high quality and efficient hotel services to patients, carers, staff and visitors to Trust sites on a day to day basis.
Responsible for the day to day management of Hotel Services staff including housekeepers, domestics, porters, catering, reception, storemen, couriers and post room staff.
Responsible for monitoring standards and taking corrective action as necessary.
To show commitment to and participate in quality improvement activities.
To interact compassionately with service users and carers at all times. Service users have a range of mental health conditions or learning disabilities.
To promote at all times a positive image of people with mental health conditions and learning disabilities.

An opportunity has arisen for a passionate, friendly and enthusiastic individual to work as a Hotel Services Supervisor within the Trusts Hotel Services Team.
Key Responsibilities
* Day to day management of Hotel Services staff including housekeepers, domestics, porters and receptionists
* Providing and maintaining a high standard of soft services support, cleanliness and the provision of food
This post involves shift work including late/early, week-ends and bank holidays. You will be required to work different varying shifts between the hours of 06.45am - 6.15pm.
The post you are applying for is 24 hours per week permanent post and your base will be Foss Park Hospital Haxby Road York. You may be required to work in different locations within a team.
Requirements
* Highly motivated, reliable, flexible and willing to work at short notice
* Substantial experience supervising/coaching staff on a day to day basis
* Experience using IT software I.E. Microsoft Office
* Experience of working in a mental health environment would be desirable
* Passion to providing high standards of customer service and cleanliness
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject
* Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2 with willingness to achieve level 3 and level 4 within an agreed timescale
* Numeracy and Literacy to level 2
