Responsibilities:
The Facilities Team handles pre-planned maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and project implementation across the company.
The role supports the Facilities Manager and Head of Facilities with daily operations at Belfast and involves managing the Facilities Team. It is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to advance their career in Facilities Management.
1. Play a key role in the Facilities operational team (FOX), focusing on maintenance related to systems, fabric, and utilities.
2. Maintain a proactive approach, minimizing desk time with hot desking in place.
3. Act as a Team Leader on projects within your responsibility area, as needed.
4. Ensure adherence to processes and systems (including WorkPal) that support task planning and delivery by the FM team and contractors.
5. Be aware of statutory requirements, ensuring full compliance in areas such as: building critical support systems, gas and electricity, entertainments licensing, and statutory inspections of relevant systems and equipment.
6. Provide relevant training to team members to support their tasks.
7. Assist with procurement and stock control of system consumables and building materials.
The Ideal Person:
1. Possess a time-served qualification in disciplines such as MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) or have at least 3 years' experience in MEP related to building services and utilities in large public buildings.
2. Have experience and knowledge in key areas including statutory requirements: CHP (Combined Heat and Power), large cooling systems, BMS, and building critical support systems.
