Your new role
As Leadmercial Accountant, you’ll lead the finance function, ensuring robust financial reporting and deliveringmercial insight that shapes the future of the business. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, including locally based external customers, to provide clarity and confidence in financial decision-making.
Key responsibilities
1. Own the finance function across the organisation’s operations
2. Prepare and present monthly management accounts and boardmentary
3. Post month-end journals and conduct P&L reviews
4. Manage budgeting and forecasting processes
5. Delivermercial analysis to support strategic initiatives
6. Champion financial discussions with key stakeholders
What you'll need to succeed
7. A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
8. Proven experience in management accounting andmercial finance
9. Strong analytical skills and the ability tomunicateplex information clearly
10. Experience preparing board packs and leading financial discussions
11. Proficiency in financial systems; Oracle Fusion experience is a plus
