Location: Tamworth Salary: £44,000 - £46,000 Shift: On - 2 Days, 2 Nights Off - 5 Days On - 2 Days, 3 Nights Off - 4 Days On - 3 Days, 2 Nights Off - 5 Days Overview We are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Setter to join a busy and forward-thinking manufacturing environment. Reporting to the Technical Manager, you will be responsible for setting and running moulding production orders, ensuring consistent high-quality output. You'll play a key role in achieving Right First Time and Just in Time manufacturing, working with advanced moulding techniques and standardised processes. Key Responsibilities Set and condition injection mould tools to meet production requirements Run production orders using pre-set programmes, monitoring output quality throughout the shift Respond to machine alarms and faults, implementing permanent corrective actions Carry out routine maintenance and fault finding on injection moulding machines and tooling Control and optimise processing parameters in line with product standards and cost requirements Maintain accurate records of maintenance, production, and quality checks Support supervision of shift staff when required in the absence of a Supervisor Prepare auxiliary equipment, jigs, fixtures, and assembly machines Perform quality checks in line with company standards and identify defects Carry out first-line troubleshooting of process and quality issues Ensure safe handling and accurate movement of materials and stock Support tooling trials, processing, and optimisation for new projects Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives Skills & Experience Required Previous experience within and Injection Moulding environment Good knowledge of modern injection moulding machinery, robotics, tooling, finishing equipment, printing, assembling Minimum 3 years' experience as an Injection Moulding Technician Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding capability Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding capability Experience with injection moulding machines, tooling, and process optimisation For further details, please contact Nick Sollis – or email your cv Omega Resource Group are an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Oil & Gas, Construction and Manufacturing sectors.
