With over 10M people across the country suffering from Obesity and limited access to care in the public health sector, it is anticipated a significant proportion of the impacted patient population will seek chronic weight management care from private market providers. As we continue to maximize our reach to patients while taking into consideration international implication, there is a significant need to manage commercial terms with our private providers, focusing on confidential price agreements. Job Summary: The Commercial Scheme Manager for the private market in the UK will be responsible for driving significant business growth within the private healthcare sector. This role involves developing and executing strategic plans to maximize business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, and ensuring the successful implementation of commercial schemes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in key account management, business-to-business interactions, and a deep understanding of both the NHS and private healthcare systems, as well as proficiency in data analytics. Key Responsibilities: Establish the operational processes, workflows, technologies needed to support the implementation of the commercial scheme Identify and map private business opportunities within the territory. Develop and execute plans to maximize business opportunities in the private market. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, private medical insurers, and NHS representatives. Ensure products and services are listed and accessible to patients and healthcare professionals. Lead internal cross-functional teams to achieve the successful implementation of the commercial scheme. Report clear and accurate data on performance and commercial opportunities. Collaborate with field-based teams to understand market dynamics and provide strategic support. Utilize data analytics to inform strategic decisions and optimize commercial schemes. Lead efforts on cross-functional brand teams and ensure alignment with overall business goals. Stay informed on industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies in B2B space Understand the patient journey in the private sector and devise solution to support seek, start and stay. Required Competencies: Proven experience in key account management and business-to-business interactions within the healthcare sector. Strong commercial acumen and effective communication skills. Experience with private market in the UK Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to seize opportunities and drive business growth. Demonstrated track record of ethical conduct and compliance with industry standards. Strategic thinking and the ability to synthesize large volumes of information into clear priorities and operational plans. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams. Knowledge of the NHS system and private healthcare system. Proficiency in data analytics and the ability to leverage data for strategic decision-making.
