As a Teaching Assistant (TA), you’ll provide essential classroom support, working closely with teachers and pupils to create a positive and engaging learning environment. Your Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant (TA): Support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups. Assist in delivering lessons and classroom activities under teacher guidance. Promote positive behaviour and support students’ social and emotional well-being. Maintain an inclusive and encouraging learning space. Monitor and report pupil progress to teaching staff and other professionals. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to ensure students thrive. Requirements for Teaching Assistant: Experience working with children or young people in school or care environments as a Teaching Assistant (TA) or similar. CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance is desirable. Degree or studies in Education, Psychology, or a related field are welcomed. Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude. Ability to communicate effectively with both pupils and staff. A valid Enhanced DBS registered to the update service or a willingness to apply for one.
