Electrical Project Manager – MEP Contractor (Data Centre)
We are working in partnership with a well-established MEP contractor, turning over circa £100 million annually, with multiple offices located throughout London.
This contractor is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead electrical works on a high-profile data centre project in Slough. The Role
As Electrical Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of the electrical package on a major data centre. Responsibilities include managing subcontractors, coordinating with the mechanical team, monitoring programme and budgets, and ensuring all works meet technical specifications, safety standards, and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities

Manage and deliver electrical works from inception through to commissioning

Liaise with internal teams, consultants, and client representatives
*
Oversee subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are delivered on time and within budget
*
Ensure compliance with health & safety, QA/QC procedures and project documentation
*
Attend regular progress meetings and provide project updates
*
Support commercial and procurement teams as needed
Requirements
*
Previous experience managing electrical packages on data centre or large commercial/industrial projects
*
Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems and services
*
SMSTS or SSSTS, CSCS, and relevant electrical qualifications
*
Confident communicator with leadership and coordination skills
*
Able to work collaboratively across MEP disciplines
