Reed Education are working closely with a well-established secondary school in Wellingborough who are seeking a dedicated Humanities Teacher with a strong History specialism. This is a permanent, full-time position starting in September, with the option of an earlier start for an exceptional candidate.
The Role
As a Humanities Teacher, you will:
* Teach History across Key Stages 3 and 4
* Contribute to the wider Humanities curriculum (Geography/RE as required)
* Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons
* Support pupil progress through effective assessment and feedback
* Play an active role in the school community and departmental development
Requirements
The school is looking for someone who has:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Strong subject knowledge and a clear passion for History
* Experience teaching History within a secondary school setting
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A proactive, professional and collaborative approach
