As an Activities Coordinator at a Barchester care home, you'll help create a stimulating environment that enables us to deliver exceptional care and support for our residents. Our ethos is about celebrating life, so you'll devise imaginative, fun, and motivational activities tailored to each individual's interests and abilities. A rewarding role, you will spend time getting to know residents and their families to develop personalized activity programs focused on wellbeing, independence, and social engagement.
About You
You should be warm, empathetic, and personable. Strong organizational skills and a driven mindset are essential to ensure you get things done and inspire residents and staff to participate in activities both within the home and in the community. Prior experience is beneficial but not essential, as training will be provided to develop your skills and support your career growth.
This role requires some weekend work on a rota basis. It is preferred if you can drive to facilitate outings using our minibus. Working hours are 9-5, five days a week.
