Prospero Teaching is working closely with a welcoming primary school in Gosport to recruit a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team within a well-established Primary School.
Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Permanent or Temp-to-Perm Salary: From £ per day Hours: 08:00am – 16:00pm (subject to variation)
What You’ll Be Doing
As a KS2 Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in shaping pupils’ learning and development. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Planning and delivering engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that spark curiosity and independence
2. Differentiating your teaching to meet the varied needs of learners and support their progress
3. Creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment that builds confidence and resilience
4. Monitoring pupil progress and adapting your teaching to ensure every child thrives
5. Working collaboratively with colleagues, families, and external professionals to support pupil outcomes
6. Setting high expectations for behaviour, learning, and personal growth
What We’re Looking For
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
8. Ideally, experience teaching KS2 and a commitment to ongoing professional development
9. A relevant degree or postgraduate qualification is desirable

12. Up-to-date safeguarding training (or willingness to complete this)
