Responsibilities
* Provide advice to inventors on patentability, cross‑examination, drafting, filing and prosecution of patent applications.
* Take responsibility for one or more technology portfolio segments and autonomously adapt portfolio content to the company’s technical and commercial strategy, including prioritisation of inventions and geographic extent of patent protection.
* Advise on freedom to operate risks and pre‑dispute work.
* Manage external patent counsel to deliver on time, quality and cost.
Qualifications
* Fully qualified and registered UK Chartered Patent Attorney and/or fully qualified and registered European Patent Attorney.
* Proven experience providing advice in Intellectual Property (IP) field.
