Service Manager at Pump Piece and Henffordd Gardens

About Henffordd Gardens: This is one of our Extra Care Schemes. This service predominantly supports the elderly who are finding it difficult to cope due to physical frailty, enabling them to maintain independence.
About Pump Piece: This service supports individuals with PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities) and Mild Learning Disabilities. We recognize each person as an individual and provide a unique, person-centred, and tailored service. The role promotes independence, choice, dignity, and respect by delivering high standards of support. We offer people with PMLD a safe and secure home where they can live independently with the support they need.
Position: Service Manager As the Service Manager at both services, you will oversee the delivery of exceptional care and services within our community. Your responsibilities include:
* Leadership: Lead a dedicated team of support workers, ensuring personalized support and fostering a culture of compassion, respect, and excellence.
* Individualized Care: Collaborate with support workers to tailor services to meet each person's unique needs, whether it’s daily assistance or round-the-clock support.
* Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of care, compliance, and safety through regular assessments and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Community Engagement: Engage with residents, their families, and local partners to create a warm, inclusive community atmosphere.
Qualifications and Skills:
* Leadership: Experience managing a team and inspiring exceptional care delivery.
* Empathy: Understanding the importance of dignity, respect, and person-centred care.
* Organizational Skills: Ability to manage responsibilities and priorities effectively.
* Healthcare Background: Experience working with vulnerable adults.
* Qualifications: NVQ Level 5 qualification is advantageous; registered manager status is required.
