The role: My client is expanding their Audit & Assurance team and is looking for a qualified Audit Senior (ICAS/ACA/ACCA) to join the business. This role can be based from any of the following offices: Carlisle, Cockermouth, Dumfries, Glasgow, Hexham, Kendal, Leeds, Manchester, Maryport, Newcastle, Northallerton, Penrith, Settle, Skipton, Whitehaven, Wigton or Workington. You’ll complete audit and accountancy assignments for a varied client portfolio and support the wider team to deliver exceptional service. Responsibilities: • Prepare statutory accounts for limited company clients and compile files for manager/partner review. • Plan, coordinate and complete audit assignments and accounts work. • Liaise with clients before and during engagements to obtain all required information. • Ensure audit/accounts files are completed for manager review within agreed timescales and budgets. • Complete sections of audit files or full files for subsidiaries in multi-entity group audits as allocated by seniors/managers. • Assist with general administration and continuous improvement within the Audit & Assurance department. Requirements: • ICAS / ACA / ACCA qualified. • Experience in a fast-paced practice environment with audit and accounts exposure. • Strong organisation and problem-solving skills; able to prioritise and meet strict deadlines. • A collaborative team player who uses initiative and supports colleagues. • Confident communicator with clients and stakeholders. • Full UK driving license.
