Platinum Search Recruitment is working with a well-established design practice to recruit an experienced Landscape Planner on a permanent basis. This is a fully remote position, however any applicants must have the relevant experience & experience with LVIA. This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of residential and mixed-use developments, contributing to high-quality, landscape-led planning outcomes from early feasibility through to planning submission. Landscape Planner Key Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities (Essentials) * Preparing and contributing to Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA) * Undertaking landscape and visual appraisals to support planning applications * Carrying out site visits, viewpoint selection, and baseline landscape analysis * Supporting the preparation of planning reports, figures, and technical documentation * Assisting with landscape-led feasibility and masterplanning work * Coordinating with architects, urban designers, and planning teams * Responding to planning authority feedback and consultation comments Landscape Planner Key Requirements: * Proven experience producing LVIA for planning applications * Strong understanding of UK planning policy and guidance relating to landscape and visual matters * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Good analytical and report-writing abilities * Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign) * AutoCAD experience desirable * Competent user of MS Office Landscape Planner Benefits & Package: * Salary competitive and dependent on experience * Remote position - ideally within a commutable distance to Surrey. * 23 days holiday Christmas shutdown (2–3 days) bank holidays * Healthcare package * Pension scheme * Payment of relevant professional subscription fees If you are an experienced Landscape Planner seeking a long-term opportunity with a reputable and expanding contractor, please apply or reach out to Platinum Search Recruitment directly as we would love to hear from you.
