The school setting supports pupils who struggle with their emotional regulation, anxiety and linked Autism. All pupils have an EHCP. This provision helps children who have found mainstream school challenging to re-engage with learning in a calm, supportive environment. The school focus on helping every pupil thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. What you’ll do: Support teaching and learning in small groups or one-to-one Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families Contribute to a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment Own your own car and be prepared to drive and accompany pupils to activities and learning experiences outside the classroom We’re looking for someone who: Has experience working with children or young people (SEND experience a plus) Is patient, empathetic, and committed to helping every child succeed Holds a full UK driving licence and is confident driving pupils locally Enjoys working as part of a close, collaborative team Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and resilience to each day Location: Tavistock, Devon Hours: Full-time, term-time only 8.30-3.30pm INDDEV
