KS1 SEN/Mental Health Assistant – Chelmsford, Essex
We are offering a long‑term contract starting September 2026 until July 2027, with a permanent role available from August 2027. The position is located in Chelmsford, Essex and offers a weekly pay of £92‑100 per day. Teacher training will be available on site for the suitable candidate, and graduates are welcome to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Attend to pupils' personal needs and implement related personal programmes (including assisting both girls and boys to the toilet).
* Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable full participation in activities.
* Build and maintain successful relationships with students, treating them with respect and consideration.
* Have the highest expectation that every student will make sustained academic and personal progress.
* Ensure every pupil is ready for the next steps in their learning and is supported to participate and contribute.
