Salary: £28,000 - 50,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for Software Engineers with a strong technical background in developing processes and evaluating Software Engineering Tools. Ideally, you should have experience developing DO-178C compliant Software Engineering Processes and Standards, including specifying tools such as meta-models, profiles, and code generation. You should possess experience compliant with DO-330 in requirements, design, coding, verification, and documentation. Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Ansys SCADE, or others is highly desirable, along with knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming. Experience in developing real-time or embedded applications and Agile Software Development is also important. A degree in a relevant field along with a proven track record in Engineering or transferable Software skills is preferred. To work with us, you must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance Status. Responsibilities: As a Software Engineer at Belcan, you will play a crucial role in developing software integral for inflight clearance strategies for new products and systems across various platforms, including Flight Systems, Mission Systems, Safety Systems, and Avionic Systems. You will engage in software quality, safety, and requirements management, with responsibilities encompassing Software design, validation, and verification for complex real-time safety-related systems as well as Cyber Security. Collaborating within a large-scale program, you will utilize your understanding of the software development lifecycle and processes to develop applications, perform coding, debugging, and testing.
