Games Workshop has an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join Black Library’s Art and Design team to create high‑quality Black Library products that accurately represent Games Workshop’s intellectual property.
Passionate about the Games Workshop IP and endlessly creative, you’ll be responsible for continuously developing exceptional quality commercial book designs for main range hardback, special editions, and more. You will perform thorough research and development to ensure the integrity of the IP and branding guidelines in all design work.
As a highly organised and collaborative member of a fast‑paced creative team, you will balance creativity with productivity, adapt your approach to deliver work on time and within appropriate cost limits, and respond to constructive feedback from peers, management and colleagues. You will maintain high quality standards and foster essential working relationships both internal and external to the Black Library Studio.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop commercial book designs for main range hardback, special editions, and other Black Library products.
* Research and develop designs to maintain IP integrity and brand guidelines.
* Collaborate with creative team and deliver work within time and budget constraints.
* Respond to feedback and make amendments promptly.
* Maintain high quality standards for all design deliverables.
Qualifications
* In‑depth knowledge and working experience with Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
* Strong understanding of the print medium and the ability to demonstrate it in practice.
* Excellent organisational skills and ability to adapt to fast‑paced environments.
* Strong communication, teamwork, and relationship‑building skills.
* Passion for Games Workshop IP and commitment to brand fidelity.
